Macular Degeneration

Macular degeneration is caused when the macula of the eye starts to lose its proper structure and the blood vessels and the proteins present in the body including cholesterol starts to affect the eye sight of the people suffering from this disease. Macular degeneration has now started to become a common condition among many people worldwide. degeneration .  In this condition, the macula present in the inner eye tends to get infected at a massive level causing impairment in the vision and gradual blindness in people suffering from age related macular degeneration. Due to this condition, the central vision of the person tends to be impaired and the eyesight is no longer as clear as it used to be.

Macular degeneration is a side effect caused due to the partial or gradual degradation of retina, which is the interior and one of the most important layers of the eye, where the nerves are collected and the light is transmitted.
