There are many treatment procedures followed for treating the lung diseases. Some of the lung disease treatmentoptions include increasing the intake of fluid. This will help to relieve the complications and to decrease the severance. Deep breathing exercise is suggested for the patients in order to expand the lungs and make the lung function perfect. Certain types of food that would cause irritation to the respiratory tract must be avoided. The ancillary therapy, which includes the supplemental oxygen therapy, will alleviate the hypoxemia and improves the functioning of the lungs. For those patients who do not respond to the treatments and the condition does not improves out of any medical therapy, usually die with in the period of two to threes of time. The conventional therapies given for the patient will only give a marginal benefit. It helps improving the surviving period of six months. The lung transplantation is mostly considered for the patients who are with IPF refractory to the treatment.
