Conjunctivitis Symptoms


Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the membrane that lines the upper portion of the eyelids and covers the surface of the eyeball that is exposed.

The symptoms of conjunctivitis are:

  • Hyperaemia or red eye
  • Chemosis or irritation of the eye
  • Epiphora or watering of the eye
These signs of conjunctivitis symptoms that are found in all the forms of conjunctivitis. The main point in the disease is that the pupils should react normally and the visual activity should be ordinary.
The signs of conjunctivitis caused due to the following factors:
  • Viral
  • Bacterial
  • Chemical
  • Others
