Acute Renal Failure Symptoms

Acute renal failure occurs when the kidney suddenly fails. This happens due to accidents that could injure the kidney and lead to a steady decline in the functioning of the kidney. Waste products accumulate in the kidney blood and this leads to acute renal failure symptoms. The following symptoms are typical of acute renal failure symptoms.
  • Decreased urine production
  • Swelling of body parts
  • There is a lot of confusion
  • The person feels tired and fatigued
  • The person feels lethargic
  • There is a feeling of nausea and vomiting
  • The patient has diarrhea.
  • There is a lot of pain in the abdomen
  • The mouth has a metallic taste
  • Seizures and coma often form a part of very grave acute renal failures.
  • Increased acidity in the body: Also called metabolic acidosis, this occurs because the acute kidney failure symptoms render the kidney unable to manufacture bicarbonate. This substance maintains the metabolism process in the kidneys. In the absence of this bicarbonate, the enzymes and the oxygen content change.
  • Hyperkalemia: This is a condition in the body, which restricts the kidney’s capacity to throw out potassium and excess potassium levels in the serum. This serum level and the hearth rhythm functions are connected. Thus, acute renal failure symptoms and arrhythmia occur together. http://www.biblehealth.com/acute-renal-failure/acute-renal-failure-symptoms.html
