http://www.biblehealth.com/images/stories/-b/back-pain/chronic-back-pain-overview.jpgChronic Back Pain Usually there are two reasons for severe back pain. Firstly, the reason for the pain is ignored and it remains neglected, evolving into severe back pain. But if the reason for the pain is related to neurology, it cannot be diagnosed easily. Most often the proper cause for the pain is difficult to be known and this also happens when the pain is related to the spinal cord and the nerves attached to it. Psychological causes can also be the other reason for chronic back pain. Many people don’t find any relief from any treatments given to them and this psychological back pain can remain life long without a cure.
When you suffer from severe back pain, it can affect your daily routine and even your recreation. The symptoms can be either muscle ache to shooting or stabbing pain. Sometimes it can go to the extent of limiting your flexibility or movements.
It is mostly quite difficult to get the correct diagnosis of chronic back pain. Blood and urine tests can determine whether the pain is due to an infection. In the same way X-rays helps you to know whether the pain is related to any problems in connective tissue. As mentioned earlier, chronic back pain is common especially in this busy life. But first and foremost you need to know whether it is due to muscle strain, herniated disc, spinal stenosis, spondylosisthesis, osteoporosis or a tumor. Only then proper treatments can be given and today you can find different types of treatments for severe back pain. It could be acupuncture, applying capsaicin cream, increasing vitamin D level in your body, music therapy, intake of more vitamin B12 and magnesium, applying willow bark, practicing yoga regularly, Bowen therapy of body movements, breathing techniques, massage therapy, Alexander technique of eliminating bad habits, Chiropractic spinal manipulation, Prolotherapy of addressing damaged ligaments or Balneotherapy which is otherwise called as bath therapy.http://www.biblehealth.com/back-pain/chronic-back-pain.html
